Drying and Dehumidification

Professional drying and dehumidification services are a far cry from buying a small, residential dehumidifier and opening a window to air out a room! We use our tried and true process in order to dry out your property and maintain safe levels of humidity in your home or commercial building. 

All excess water has to be removed to begin the drying process. We use powerful pumps that can remove water from any area and industrial vacuums to get to all those hard-to-reach spaces. While you may think that ventilation is enough to dry out a room, you should never skip the water removal step. Ventilation alone is way less effective than when it is combined with water removal, and it can lengthen the process, also leaving a high risk for the growth of mold and mildew.

Evaporation

After all standing water has been completely removed, affected areas will remain damp. The use of high-powered fans increases airflow and promotes evaporation. Our specialized fans will dry out all the excessive dampness while running more efficiently than many residential fans available for purchase, meaning our equipment is great for the environment. During evaporation, our team will carefully monitor air temperature, aiming to maintain a higher temperature to promote faster water evaporation. We typically strive for a steady temperature between 70 and 90 degrees, only going over 90 degrees in extreme situations.

Dehumidification

Dehumidification is particularly important when water has stood in an area for a long time. After following the water removal and evaporation steps, dehumidifiers are installed so they can draw in any remaining moist air and cool it down. Vapor in the air is then transformed back into water and collected for disposal. This dry out step protects all materials in your home, including your softer surfaces, since the vapor can no longer linger in carpets or upholstery.
